Mic Waugh’s career as a cinematographer includes a diverse body of work in feature films, music videos, commercials and documentaries. His use of light, shadow, camera movement and lens choices are fueled by his passion for storytelling and his love for music that continues to inspire his work.
Early in his career, Mic has had the good fortune of working with mentors Yon Thomas, A.J. Raitano, Robert Benevides and Tim Burton. His work has taken him all over the world (Iceland, Guatemala, Spain, Kuwait and Dubai).
He has gained international notoriety for his cinematography and steadicam work on OK GO’s award winning music video THIS TOO SHALL PASS.
Some of his recent projects include SHADE (HBO Pilot), ARIZONA LOTTERY, DESERT SCHOOLS, THE MAN FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION (Sci-Fi Pilot), and WOMAN ON THE EDGE an AMC/Lifetime feature.
